Writing & Editing
From 1995 to 2000, I wrote and edited material for the SHRM Online web site. In addition, I wrote the SHRM E-Bulletin from 1999 to 2000; authored a monthly column from 1995 to 1998 for HR Magazine; contributed articles to HR News; wrote, researched and edited material for newsletters and books published by the National Institute for Business Management and Smithsonian Institution Archives; and was a freelance writer for publications including Computer Digest and the National Geographic Historical Atlas of the United States.
Web Site Management
From 1994 to 2000, I directed SHRM's web site initiative. I created three web sites -- SHRM Online, SHRMStore Online and the SHRM Global Forum. (After they were created, the latter two sites were managed by others at SHRM.) I managed the largest of the sites, SHRM Online.
