ABOUT J-STAMPS This site is created to foster interest in Jewish history and philately (also known as stamp collecting). It features the writings of Dr. Murray Frost, a Jewish historian and philatelist. Dr. Frost was the longtime editor of the Judaica Philatelic Journal, and for nearly 10 years beginning in 1991, he authored the popular "Judaica Philately" column in The Global Stamp News. Dr. Frost died of pancreatic cancer in September 2000. His wish was that his writing and research continue to be made available to others who share his interest in stamp collecting and Jewish lore.
